Topic: Data & Water Quality Monitoring
AAW believes sound science should inform water policy—not assumptions or political pressure. We support data collection that helps farmers protect water quality without fear of penalties or overreach.
📌 Our Position:
AAW supports credible, science-based water monitoring programs that provide useful feedback to landowners. We oppose punitive or misleading use of data that unfairly targets agriculture or misrepresents its impact.
🌊 Why It Matters: Farmers and ranchers are committed to clean water, but they need trust and cooperation—not threats and distortion. Data should be a tool for improvement, not a weapon.
