Many farms provide housing for their workers—but excessive and inconsistent regulations can make this difficult and expensive. AAW supports fair, clear, and consistently applied housing standards that protect both residents and property owners.

📌 Our Position: AAW opposes punitive or duplicative inspections of farm labor housing. We support uniform policies that balance safety with practicality and recognize the importance of affordable, accessible on-farm housing.

🏠 Why It Matters: Without fair housing rules, fewer farms can offer accommodations—making it even harder to attract and retain a stable workforce. Consistent standards help ensure safe living conditions without burdening farms with unnecessary red tape.
