Labels should mean what they say. AAW supports strong food identity standards that protect the integrity of traditional agricultural products and ensure that consumers aren’t misled by imitation or misbranded goods.

📌 Our Position: AAW supports accurate, science-based labeling requirements that clearly define food categories—such as dairy, meat, and grains. We oppose misleading terms like “milk” or “meat” applied to plant- or lab-based substitutes without clear distinction.

🥛 Why It Matters: Mislabeling erodes consumer trust and undermines the work of American farmers and ranchers. Honest labels protect product value, food quality, and informed choices at the grocery store.
